The coalition of youth from Kano North Senatorial Zone is set to replace their incumbent Senator, Barau I Jibrin for non performance at the upper chamber in the Nigerian parliament at the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the youth group, Comrade Aminu Bala Shanono, the youth are now in search of a consensus candidate who can represent the senatorial zone with good performance unlike what the entire electorates are noticing under Senator Barau I Jibrin.
The statement further stressed that youth at Kano North Zone are not benefiting from the dividends of democracy despite the role they played during the last general elections, which is very unfortunate.
They vowed to find somebody who can make good impact for the development of the Senatorial district like what is being seen at other senatorial zones.
The Kano North youth under the aegis of ” Kano Ta Arewa Ina Mafita” has concluded all the necessary preparations in order to commence youth mobilization at all the 13 LGA’s of the Senatorial Zone to search for better candidates that would also be acceptable to everybody as the current senator’s replacement is geared towards real change.
