Nigerian popular singer, Daniel Oladapo Oyebanjo, better known as D’banj, has collaborated with Nigeria’s institution, Access Bank, to promote young talents.
This was made possible through D’banj’s talent hunt platform, CREAM, which was launched in August 2016.
Since CREAM’s launch, it has attracted over three million subscribers. It has also discovered, nurtured and promoted different talents across music, entertainment and the creative industry in general.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the CEO of DKM Digital, Damian Ifeanyi Okoroafor, insisted that the new deal with Access Bank was designed to get across to more people.
He stated, “Our new deal with Access Bank is designed to reach out to more talents and to expand the categories from music to agriculture, education entrepreneurship, sports and many more.”
D’banj said the feedbacks had been amazing since they introduced the CREAM platform.
The founder of DKM Media said, “The journey of the CREAM platform has been an amazing one and I can only thank God and my dedicated team for the success. It has been a journey of painstaking planning, calculations, funding, making thorough researches and futuristic thinking.”
“Today, we are proud to announce another landmark in this journey as we partner with Access Bank to make the CREAM platform more accessible to people. As time goes on, we will activate more partnership deals. With over three million subscribers and still counting, things can only get better.”
According to the singer, with Access Bank’s involvement, there will be a lot of added value and advantage to subscribers. D’banj also said the new development would not affect CREAM’s monthly draws and winners.
“Access Bank will give lucky winners one million naira weekly for 10 weeks while 10 entrepreneurs will be trained within the period of 10 weeks,” he added.
